Our Vision

Ghana's gold, working for its own people

MineStarter exists because the capital to formalise artisanal mining has historically sat outside the reach of the communities producing the gold. We're building the regulated bridge between the two.

The Problem

A production sector closed to outside capital

Ghana's artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM) sector produces a meaningful share of the country's gold output and supports millions of livelihoods — yet the mines themselves are chronically undercapitalised. Formalising a shaft, buying safer processing equipment, or meeting an ESG audit standard all cost money that local operators frequently cannot raise through conventional channels.

The informal alternative — unregulated side-investment in a mine's output, arranged outside any licensing or audit framework — carries real risk for everyone involved: no investor protection, no verified traceability, and no recourse if production or payouts don't materialise as promised.

The Solution

Regulated access, starting from a demo sandbox

MineStarter channels investor capital directly into vetted, ESG-audited mining projects — with every gram of output traceable from pit to vault, every project independently audited, and every return distributed against verified production, not promises.

This build is a sandbox demonstration of that model: no real payments move, and no real blockchain network is queried. It exists to prove the product experience — project vetting, traceable output, automated distribution — ahead of the real regulatory and banking integrations that a live platform would require.

Long-Term Vision

Where MineStarter is headed

01
🌱

Prove the model in Ghana

Demonstrate the full sandbox loop — vetted project listings, traceable output, automated distribution — across a small set of flagship mining projects before any real capital moves.

02
🏦

Physical redemption & vault network

Establish certified vault and transport partnerships so investors could eventually choose physical gold delivery rather than a cash-equivalent return, subject to minimum holdings.

03
🔗

Secondary market for project shares

Explore a liquid, tokenised secondary market so a position doesn't have to be held to a project's full term to be realised. See the Roadmap and our Secondary Market concept page for how this is scoped and gated.

04
🌍

A blueprint beyond Ghana

If the compliance architecture and traceability model prove out, the same approach could extend to other West African gold-producing regions — using Ghana as the reference build.

Our Mandate

To make investing in ethical gold production legible, traceable, and open to more than just institutional capital.
