Before you "invest"
No. MineStarter, as built here, is a sandbox/demo. No real payments are processed, no real KYC checks run, and no real blockchain network is used. It exists to demonstrate the product experience.
No. The Signup flow accepts any country. The platform is designed with diaspora investors specifically in mind — see Benefits for what that means in this model.
Name, email, password and country, plus a KYC/AML prompt that reflects what a real identity-verification step would require — no documents are actually collected in this demo.
There's no enforced minimum — the Project Detail page suggests a default demo amount of $5,000, but you can simulate any amount.
The sandbox flow
Browse the Marketplace, open a project's detail page, and click "Invest Now" to enter a demo amount. This is a sandbox — no real payment is processed.
Smart-contract-style logic distributes gold-backed returns proportional to your demo investment, reflected in your Investor Dashboard.
In the model this demo represents, unfilled projects would not proceed to extraction, and capital would be returned. This build doesn't simulate that failure path directly — every demo project shown is treated as active.
Yes — simulate as many demo investments as you like across different projects in the Marketplace.
Every project is reviewed against Green Mining and Traceable Gold standards, verified by independent third-party auditors before and during funding — see ESG & Compliance.
Gold output is logged at the mine, transport checkpoint, and vault, then hash-recorded before tokenisation — viewable as a snapshot from your Dashboard. This build simulates that record; no live network is queried.
Investing from outside Ghana
In the model this demo represents, diaspora investors would receive returns to an overseas bank account without needing a local account. This build reflects that return in your Dashboard rather than processing a real transfer.
